生活型

形態特徵

A small tree or shrub, glabrous, densely branched, young branchlets slightly 4-angular.
Leaves opposite, coriaceous, oblong to obovate, obtuse or emarginate at the apex, acute to attenuate at base, 2–3.5 cm long, 1–1.2 cm broad, lateral veins numerous, inconspicuous; petioles 2–5 mm long.
Flowers in terminal few-flowered cymes or paniculate; pedicels about 2 mm long; calyx campanulate, lobes 4, very short with two small bracts at base, bracts caducous; petals 4, free, small; ovules 4 in each cell.
Fruit globose, 7–10 mm in diameter.

台灣 : In thickets at low to medium altitudes throughout the island.
世界 : Southern China, the Ryukyus and the Bonin Islands
